Shorts Uploader

A small personal tool that uploads my own videos to my own YouTube channels.

What it is

Shorts Uploader is a script that runs only on its owner's computer. After the channel owner signs in with Google, it uploads a finished video with the title, description and privacy setting the owner approved, using the official YouTube Data API.

What it is not

• It is not a public service. There are no sign-ups and no other users.
• It has no server, database, ads or analytics.
• It cannot edit or delete videos, comments or channel settings.

Google permissions it asks for

• Upload videos to the signed-in YouTube channel.
• View the YouTube account, only to show which channel is signed in and whether an upload has finished processing.
• Email address, only to show which Google account a sign-in belongs to.
